Welcome to our charming holiday home in Langelille, beautifully situated on the River Tjonger and on the edge of the Rottige Meente nature reserve. Here, you can enjoy peace, space, water and sweeping views across the Frisian countryside and reed beds. This bright and comfortable holiday home is located directly on the water and features a spacious garden with a private inlet harbour. It is a wonderful place for water lovers and an ideal base from which to explore Friesland by boat, bicycle or on foot. Of course, it is also the perfect place to simply do nothing at all.

The holiday home
The house is located in one of the quietest parts of the small holiday park, exactly where the River Tjonger meets the park’s waterway entrance. Plenty of natural light, soft colours and open spaces create a warm and relaxing atmosphere indoors.
Settle into a comfortable armchair and enjoy the views over the water, reed beds and Frisian countryside. The large oval dining table offers plenty of space for a leisurely breakfast, cosy moments together and long conversations.
After a day of boating, walking or cycling, the spacious corner sofa is the perfect place to unwind together.
Kitchen
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, combination microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, kettle and Nespresso machine.
Upon arrival, a local treat will be waiting for you, perfect with a cup of coffee or tea after your journey. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, oil, salt and pepper are provided.
Bedrooms and bathroom
The house has three bedrooms, each with two single beds. The beds are freshly made upon arrival, so your holiday can begin straight away. Insect screens and blackout blinds ensure a good night’s sleep.
The comfortable bathroom features underfloor heating, a bathtub, a spacious shower with both rainfall and handheld showerheads, a toilet and double washbasins. The largest bedroom also has an additional washbasin with a mirror.
Everything you need
Towels, kitchen towels, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner and laundry products are provided. There is also a washing machine, clothes drying rack, hairdryer and plenty of storage space for your luggage.
In the cupboards, you will find books, board games, binoculars and tips for exploring the surrounding area.
For young children, a high chair, stair gate and travel cot with bedding are available.
Outside by the water
The spacious garden is located directly on the water and features a decked terrace, outdoor furniture, an outdoor dining area, swimming ladder and private inlet harbour.
Use the Weber charcoal barbecue, take a swim, go fishing, paddleboarding, sailing or boating. Free parking is available at the house, as well as a charging point for your car.
Surroundings
The area around Langelille is ideal for beautiful boating, cycling and walking routes. In Echtenerbrug, around three minutes away by car, you will find a supermarket and several welcoming restaurants.
On the other side of the holiday park, there is a small beach, approximately a five-minute walk away.
Good to know
The small-scale holiday park is almost fully completed. As a result, the entrance to the park is not yet finished to the same standard everywhere. At the house itself, however, you can fully enjoy peace, privacy, comfort and beautiful views over the water.
Comfort, atmosphere and nature come together here in a relaxed way. A wonderful place to spend quality time together and enjoy everything Friesland has to offer.

Is smoking allowed?
No, smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation. Smoking is permitted outside, provided that cigarette ends are disposed of properly.
Are parties or events allowed?
No, parties, events and excessive noise are not permitted. The accommodation is intended for a peaceful and relaxing stay.
